This year we are having a year long focus on the virtue of kindness. Every class is completing a kindness project in the community. Yesterday, Year 3 spread joy in the local community by leaving flowers and cards in various spaces in the community. On the way back to school they noticed that some of the flowers had already been taken and were very excited that they had brightened someone’s day.
Welcome to a new feature on our website, sharing stories of Darell Alumni as they continue their journeys out into the wide world.
We pride ourselves here at Darell in preparing our children to be ready to face the next stage of their lives with confidence and kindness. We were especially happy to have this recognised in our recent Ofsted inspection by being given an Outstanding rating for personal development.
We love to hear how our past pupils are getting on, and would welcome any more stories you may have to share.
Fantastic work by our Year 2 community Club today. They worked extremely hard to completely clear the playground area of our local park. The school tag line 'Making a Difference' in action. They were supported by two Year 6 prefects. Thank you to all.
