Headteacher Message
Hello all,
I hope you are well. You will shortly be receiving an email containing the data and some analysis from the parent survey. Thanks again for your responses. One of the themes emerging was that you may want the school to put on more parent workshops. As if by magic I would like to highlight a workshop tomorrow.

Thank you very much to Belinda, our amazing family support worker, for organising this. I wish that I had been given the opportunity to attend a workshop like this when my children were at primary school. As some of you know, one of my daughters suffers from high levels of anxiety and it has been a really challenging journey for her through secondary school. Advice and practical ideas from professionals are so important in supporting us as parents. Please do come if you think it will help. We know many of you are working parents so will continue to think about how we can share this expertise with you if you are unable to attend on the day.
We look forward to hosting our annual Strawberry Tea this afternoon, for all those parents and volunteers who have given up their time over the last year to help run bake sales, support on trips, fundraising and much more. It’s a small token of our thanks for making Darell such a welcoming and supportive community.
Have a lovely rest of the week.
Joe Porter
