Headteacher Message

Hello all,

I am afraid it is a very short message today.  This is due to the time it has taken to collate and send out reports and because I have had to send out guidance regarding the hot, hot, hot weather we are expecting on Monday and Tuesday.

Please read your emails as I have outlined what we as a school are doing. Please take extra special care in the next few days and stay safe.   I will be sending out a proper update on Monday as I really enjoy writing the newsletter and feel a bit cheated today.

Thanks,

Joe Porter

As you are aware the temperature is going to soar into next week. Please can we ask you send your child into school with a water bottle, sun hat and with sun screen applied.

Children can wear their PE kit instead of school uniform as the temperature is rising and this is lighter and more comfortable.

Clubs Update

All extra curricular clubs have now finished for the  summer term. Please collect your child at their normal pick up time unless they are attending the after school club.

Outstanding Payments The Future of Payment Methods | Asia Premier BPO

Please can we ask all outstanding payments for school meals and past trips to be paid before the end of term. You can see any outstanding balances on your child's Arbor account.

Lost property lost property | P6/7 Class Blog- Lochardil Primary

We have huge amounts of lost property accumulating in the office. If you are missing any items please come and have a look through. Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to store items, so if items are not claimed by the end of term, they will be donated to a charity shop. Thank you.

Student Wellbeing Update Issue 1 – Stanborough Primary SchoolWellbeing

Well-being is about how we are doing and how we feel about our lives.

Low well-being has been linked to mental health conditions like depression and anxiety. It can impact our relationships with family and friends and how we feel about and interact with the world around us.

There are many ways we can improve our well being with help and guidance.

Social Media update

There are several different social media platforms that your child might be on or wanting to join such as Instagram and Snapchat. Social Media platforms are used to share pictures and communicate with others. It is important to review each individual platform to see what age your child should be to access them and to set appropriate privacy settings. It is also important to talk to your child about information they should keep private.

Is your child ready for social media?

This article looks at the risks that you need to consider as well as advice on how to get started:
