On Tuesday this week, 29 choir members went to sing at
Lynde House retirement home in East Twickenham. I am so proud of every single child for their enthusiasm and dedication. They brought joy to the home with their beautiful singing and delightful personalities. They are such a credit to the school. The choir sang all the way to the home and all the way back, and passers by commented on the wonderful sounds and sight. The children were fabulous with the residents, chatting with them after their hour long performance. This was such an important service to the community, particularly to old-er members who have little contact with the outside world. Natural-ly, we have been asked back but I declined the offer of next week! The children enjoyed a picnic lunch in the grounds of the home.
Thanks to Katy, Jasmine and Nadine for their help on the day and to Anna for accompanying the children on the piano.
